Velocity Timing would like to let you know of some upcoming races that we are involved in. The first one is on June 11, 2022 in Norton, VA and is a 5K event that will also have a team aspect to it, with Fire, Police, and Rescue competing with each other. Should be a fun way to help support your local Hometown Heroes, so come on out and join us that morning in downtown Norton. Registration for this race is on the Run Tri Cities website.
On June 18, 2022 we will be in Big Stone Gap, VA at Freedom Chevrolet for the JCB Birthday Bash. This 5K event will take place on the Big Stone Greenbelt, but with a different point of view by starting and finishing near Freedom Chevrolet instead of at the traditional Big Stone Gap Visitors Center. On July 2, 2022 we will be in Pennington Gap, VA for the Independence Day 5K. This event will kickoff the Fourth of July celebration for the town of Pennington. The event will begin and end inside of Leeman Field and will follow the Greenway Trail that runs mostly next to the Powell River. A very nice relaxing environment.
